AICTE CMAT 2018 Merit List

AICTE will share the CMAT 2018 All India Merit List with candidates’ Roll number, Rank and the Score. The scores are calculated on the basis of +4 for each correct answer, -1 for each wrong answer and 0 for no answer.

If more than one candidate secures same ranking going by the above process, the same Rank is assigned to all of them but is displayed by sorting their names alphabetically. The Rank of the subsequent candidate is then extended by the number of additional students having the same Rank. For example if 3 students are at 25th Rank then subsequent student will be ranked as 28th.

Order of Merit in case of equal total scores

In case scores are same for more than one candidate, the ranking is done on sectional score considered in the order of:

  1. Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
  2. Logical Reasoning
  3. Language Comprehension
  4. General Awareness

How is CMAT 2018 Rank calculated?

The CMAT All India Rank is calculated on the basis of Total Score.

Percentile is calculated using the formula:

Percentile P = ( (N- your rank)/ N) x 100 (Where P is percentile and N is total number of candidates appeared for exam).
