Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF), India’s highest PhD grant | Application Window Opens





Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF), India’s highest PhD Grant fellowship scheme, has invited online applications from eligible candidates. PMRF scheme is aimed at attracting the talent pool of the country to doctoral (PhD) programs of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for carrying out research in cutting edge science and technology domains, with focus on national priorities.
1000 best students who have completed BTech or Integrated MTech or MSc in Sc. & Tech. streams will be selected after a rigorous process in a year, and offered direct admission in PhD programme in the IITs/IISC.
Online application form of PMRF will start from 24 February 2018 and will continue till 31 March 2018. The interested candidates can complete the online registration process by visiting the official website at pmrf.in. Additionally, Qualified candidates will face the interview from 15 May 2018 onwards. The results of PMRF scheme will declare on 1 June 2018.

Eligibility conditions: 


Applicant should have completed, or are in the final year of B.Tech or Integrated M.tech or M.Sc in Science & Technology streams from IISc/IITs/NITs/IISERs/IIITs.
Candidates must have secured atleast 8 CGPA.
Students should have completed the required academic qualification in the last 5 year.

Prime Minister Research Fellows Online Application form:

  1. First visit the official website pmrf.in.
  2. Click on the Apply Online tab at the top of the page and click on this link https://pmrf.in/applications/index.html.
  3. Read carefully all the instructions and then click on the Apply Online at the bottom of the page.
  4. After clicking the Application form will be like that as shown below.

Fill all the necessary details like age, aadhaar no, your CV,research details, etc.

Then at last click on the submit button.
