OnePlus India is giving away 6,000 Marvel Avengers: Infinity War tickets to users on 26 April Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has announced a partnership with Marvel Studios and the new Avengers Movie, which will be out in theatres on 27 April in India. Thanks to the collaboration, OnePlus is now giving away 6,000 complimentary movie tickets for the upcoming movie, Avengers: Infinity War. There’s also rumours about the possibility of a special Avengers: Infinity Wars-themed  OnePlus 6  smartphone arriving in the country. But you can expect the themed device to arrive a lot later, after the launch, similar to the Star Wars-themed smartphones launched by OnePlus last year. As for the movie,  OnePlus  users in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune and Ahmedabad will be to grab their tickets after 10 AM on 26 April. To claim the free movie tickets, owners will need to visit oneplus.in and register with their OnePlus IMEI

Flipkart & Asus partnership | Flipkart ties up with Asus, to launch Zenfone Max Pro M1 on April 23

E-commerce giant Flipkart on Tuesday made its ‘big’ announcement today. Flipkart’s CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy  and Ajay Veer Yadav, Head of smartphones took to the stage to make the announcements. The company had been hinting at a new partnership with a mobile phone company and a new device launch. Flipkart announced an exclusive partnership with Taiwanese smartphone maker, Asus. Flipkart also talked about its future plans as a platform for selling smartphones in India. The e-tailer aims to own 40% of smartphone sales in India by 2020. Flipkart will be launching new Asus products in India. The first product from this partnership will be Zenfone Max Pro M1 which will be launched on April 23.  Asus had launched Zenfone Max Pro in August last year along with five other smartphones from the Zenfone 4 series. The company, however, may launch Max Pro M1 different specifications in India. For instance, Asus has confirmed the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 processor.

The Haryana Police today arrested a man from Himachal Pradesh's Solan district in connection with the  attack on Punjabi singer Parmish Verma , police said. The singer was  shot at  by some unidentified assailants in Punjab's Mohali on Friday night. Police in Punjab have arrested Harvinder Singh, alias Happy, from Baddi for allegedly firing shots at Punjabi pop singer and music director Parmish Verma.  Verma was shot at while coming back home late at night on April 13 and is recuperating at Fortis Hospital, Mohali. The arrest was made on Sunday morning and interrogation is on in the case, the police said. Gangster  Dilpreet Singh Dhahan , who had shot singer  Parmish Verma  on Saturday, has released another threat on his social media account saying that he will fire 500 rounds to kill the singer. Airtel Misleading T20 ad Case | Delhi High Court Judgement

The Delhi High Court has asked Bharti Airtel to change its Indian Premier League advertising campaign after Reliance Jio Infocomm alleged that the largest telco was misleading customers, marking another legal tussle between the operators in their battle for subscribers.  The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio has demanded highest penalty imposed on Sunil Bharti Mittal's Bharti Airtel by telecom regulator Trai alleging that the two plans of Airtel -- priced at Rs 293 and Rs 449 respectively -- are being marketed in a misleading manner. It said that Airtel's advertisements of these offers are an attempt to lure prospective subscribers making them believe that they will be provided 1 GB data per day for 70 days. "However, the subscribers who do not satisfy Airtel's dual criteria, will be provisioned only 50 MB data and post that, they will be charged the exorbitant data tariff of Rs 4,000 per GB," Jio said. RAAZI : SEHMAT -  In case you didn't know, Alia Bhatt's latest movie,  Raazi   is   based on the novel  Calling Sehmat  by ex-naval officer, Harinder Sikka . The novel is a fictionalized account of a reportedly true story about an Indian Kashmiri undercover agent, set during the time of the 1971 Indo-Pak war.  According to an interview with  The Hindu,  author Harinder Sikka was covering the 1999 Kargil war, and angry at the Indian Army's alleged failure, he,  "questioned the patriotism of certain people in the Intelligence Department."
