Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF), India’s highest PhD Grant fellowship scheme, has invited online applications from eligible candidates. PMRF scheme is aimed at attracting the talent pool of the country to doctoral (PhD) programs of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for carrying out research in cutting edge science and technology domains, with focus on national priorities. 1000 best students who have completed BTech or Integrated MTech or MSc in Sc. & Tech. streams will be selected after a rigorous process in a year, and offered direct admission in PhD programme in the IITs/IISC. Online application form of PMRF will start from 24 February 2018 and will continue till 31 March 2018.
